Since we come to you, we have worked at many different wedding venues in the Twin Cities over the years and we want to talk about it. If you’re at the very beginning stages of your wedding planning, congratulations! You’re in the right spot. In this post we’re going to list the top 8 wedding venues in the Twin Cities, Minnesota.
For reference, we are including venues that are within an hour of the Minneapolis-Saint Paul airport to qualify as “Twin Cities”. In no particular order:

We LOVE Ahavah! The team is absolutely amazing, the space is gorgeous, and the flow of your event will be really enjoyable for your guests. At one hour away from MSP airport, we had to include this one on our list. Some of our favorite features of this venue include:
- Ceremony Location – There is an inside and outside option for your ceremony, and the outside option is our favorite. The outdoor space has a paved path & aisle, white double doors for a dramatic reveal during the processional, and gorgeous foliage to make this space dreamy and functional.
- Bar & Patio – The bartending service comes through the venue so you can trust that your bartenders know the space and are comfortable handling all your guests. The large garage door that opens between the bar and patio area make the space functional for a mingling cocktail hour, and an outdoor dance party.
- Lodging Onsite – The venue owners also own lodging right next door to Ahavah so you can eliminate lodging and transportation logistics for a large number of guests.
- Blank Canvas – The inside of this space is great for making your vision come to life. With white walls, black linens, and gorgeous crystal chandeliers, your reception space can be transformed into the wedding of your dreams.
Venue Specs:
- Capacity: Up to 210 guests seated for Reception
- Getting Ready: Separate spaces are available for the morning of the wedding (10 am usually, can add extra hours to get in at 8am)
- Rehearsal: Takes place the Thursday before your wedding (specified times)
- Catering: They have a preferred list of caterers that are DELICIOUS!
White & Sable, Ham Lake, MN

White & Sable is a newer venue in the state and it is a lovely modern venue that you can make your own! At 45 minutes from the airport, this is a great new addition to our state! This new venue features:
- Blank Canvas – A clean, crisp blank slate for your decor to make this space exactly what you envisioned your wedding day to look like.
- Great flow – The guest experience is elevated because the flow of this venue is exceptional. No space needs to be used twice, so there is never a room flip.
- Ceremony Location – Both indoor and outdoor options are available for your ceremony (again, with no room flip required if you choose indoor).
Venue Specs:
- Capacity: 225 for plated meal (200 is more comfortable), 200 for buffet meal (175 is more comfortable)
- Rental Period: 13 hours
- Wedding Coordinator is required (hey, that’s us!)
- Current rate: Starts at $9,500, booking requires 25% paid at time of booking

Mosaic Venue, Minneapolis, MN

If you’re looking for a blank canvas in downtown Minneapolis, then this is the place for you! The large open concept space, centralized location, and amazing staff make this a great place for those that a downtown experience. Mosaic Venue features:
- Downtown location – Right off 35W, this venue is easy to get to so your guests won’t have to navigate too far from the interstate.
- Space Versatility – Mosaic Hall and The Den combine for a great guest experience for all the elements of your wedding day.
- Blank Canvas – Your vision can truly come to life in this versatile space to create a celebration that speaks to you.
Venue Specs:
- Capacity: Mosaic Hall = 450, The Den = 200
- Parking: Underground parking ramp w/ discounted rates & overnight parking
- Lodging: Connected to a boutique hotel
- Catering: Open catering policy
Next Chapter Winery, New Prague, MN

Next Chapter Winery is such a beautiful place and has so much character! You get a location for each event of the day, confirmed rehearsal on-site, and great staff to make your wedding day the best day! The features of this venue include:
- Rehearsal On-site – You will never have to worry about if you can have your rehearsal at your venue or not, they have a specific space set up to hold Rehearsals, and then have your rehearsal dinner after.
- Charm & Character – This venue has great character between the barrel room, vineyard ceremony space, and getting ready suites. If you’re looking for something that doesn’t need a lot of decor, this is a great option.
- Space Options – You can host each part of your day in a different location to keep a good flow for your guests and avoid room flips. In the warmer months, your ceremony can be in the vineyard, cocktail hour in the barrel room, dinner under the tented pavilion, and back to dancing in the barrel room.
Venue Specs:
- Capacity: 250 seated (pavilion weddings)
- Rental Period: 8am – 12pm for Pavilion & Barrel Room Weddings
- Current Rate: $4,000 – $7,000 (pending day of the week), 20% due at time of booking
- Bar: You’re at a winery! Easiest bar ever, minimum is $500

One of two community centers on our list, the Plymouth Community Center is a great location to incorporate an outdoor ceremony, create an elegant event on a budget, and be centrally located. This venue features:
- Millennium Garden – As an add-on to your room rental, you can have your ceremony in the Millennium Garden for a gorgeous backdrop. Sound equipment is included in the rental, chairs will need to be rented from Highway 55 Party Rental.
- Large Space – Being a larger space is great for those that have higher guest counts. This can help you avoid having to move tables to create a dance floor.
- Parking – Since you’re at the community center, there is no shortage of parking for your event! It can be a hassle in some places to make sure there is enough parking for your guests, but not here.
Venue Specs:
- Capacity: 250 buffet, 300 plated
- Current Rate: $3,700, add-on Millennium Garden for $620
- Rental Period: 10am – Midnight
- Catering: preferred caterers only, but the list is longer than most
Abrazar Events, St. Paul, MN

Located in downtown Saint Paul, Abrazar Events is one we recommend not only for your wedding day, but also for the other wedding events you’ll have during your engagement. The staff is wonderful, and the versatility of the space is a huge benefit! Some features of this venue:
- Central Location – Located in downtown Saint Paul, this venue is very easy to get to from all directions.
- Open Concept – This space is great for micro weddings! You can set up your ceremony and reception spaces at the same time to avoid a room flip. Find out more on Petite Weddings here.
- Natural Light – The floor to ceiling windows in this space offer a ton of natural light for your special day. There is a garage door that can open as well to offer some fresh air through the day.
Venue Specs:
- Capacity: 200
- Current Rate: $2,000 – $4,000 (depending on the day)
- Rental Period: 12 hours
- Parking: Surface lot next door and parking garage across the street
Camrose Hill Flower Studio & Farm, Stillwater, MN

Less than 45 minutes from the airport is a gorgeous venue that takes you from the hustle and bustle of the city to a stunning, serene flower farm. The nature you’ll experience is nothing short of magical. This venue features:
- Multiple Ceremony Locations – Three separate locations can be chosen for your ceremony so your wedding is exactly how you want it. There is an indoor option that can be used as a backup, but the two outdoor locations are stunning, the fairy garden is our favorite.
- Amazing Character – If you want to get married outside and be one with nature, this is the place for you. There is not much you need to add to this place as far as extra decor because there’s so much character already there.
- Florals On-Site – Since this is a flower farm, your wedding florals are done too! That’s one less vendor you need to worry about finding.
Venue Specs:
- Capacity: 175 with outdoor ceremony, 150 with indoor ceremony
- Rental Period: All day
- Getting Ready: Two separate spaces so you can avoid each other if you’re not doing a first look
- Bar: There are 2 bar locations for social hour so your guests get served fast
Pinewood Weddings & Events, Cambridge, MN

One hour north of the airport is a gorgeous venue in the middle of pine trees offering a backdrop for your ceremony that can’t be beat! This venue features:
- Outstanding Views – The outdoor ceremony option sets a gorgeous scene with tall pinewood trees. There is an option for an indoor ceremony as well, but the outdoor ceremony space is just too pretty to not use (pray for good weather!)
- Separate Getting Ready Spaces – The getting ready spaces are roomy, and on separate levels. This is especially great to make sure you’re staying separate from each other before the ceremony if you aren’t doing a first look.
- Event Flow – This venue is great at using space. Everything has it’s own space to take place, but things aren’t too far apart that it takes a lot of walking to get there. Your event will be seamless from the mimosas with makeup to the last song of the evening.

- Capacity: 225

- Retainer: $1,000 to reserve your date
Cady Acres, Wilson, WI

We know this blog is about our favorite wedding venues in the Twin Cities, but we couldn’t post about our favorite venues to work at without including one just over the border in Western Wisconsin. Cady Acres is a such a lovely space and a great barn venue that is less than an hour from the airport. This venue features: You get a full weekend rental, multiple locations on-site for different events, and the staff is always there for you whenever you need them.
- Full Weekend Rental – Pay one fee, get the venue for the entire weekend! Friday night access for rehearsal, groom’s dinner, and unloading decorations, with a Saturday wedding, and Sunday morning packing up. The ease of access at this space is wonderful!
- Multiple Ceremony Locations – There is an outdoor ceremony space and an indoor space for whatever your heart desires! The machine shed ceremony space is gorgeous and offers cross breeze for enjoying the gorgeous weather.
- Large Capacity – This venue has a capacity of 400 people! If you have a larger guest list for your wedding, this is the place for you!
Venue Specs:
- Capacity: Up to 400 people for machine shed dinner, Up to 250 people for Barn dinner
- Current Rate: $4,999 Fridays only, $5,599 Saturdays only, $6,999 Full Weekend Rental
- Retainer: 50% of rental fee, $400 damage deposit
- Bar: Provided by the venue
